Baci Fortune Cookies

Every Baci Chocolates has a fortune cookies wraped inside. It's always nice to see what you get. It's like what Forest Gump once said:

"Life is like a box of chocolate, you never now what you gonna get."
And the same is with Fortune Cookies. That's why i am going to collect them. To see if I can get them all.

Barcelona,

mesto, kamor hodi na počitnice polovica Evrope sodeč po gneči, ki vlada na La Rambli, glavni ulici. Dobra kombinacija za žur in kulturo. Barcelona niso le zabave na plaži, popivanje sangrije in grickljanje pekočih predjedi (patatas bravas so super!) v enem izmed nešteto mnogih lokalov po mestu (brez slabe vesti bi ji lahko dejali evropski New York); Barcelona nudi mnogo in še več:
futuristične stavbe z neravnimi stenami, balkoni v obliki maske, odštekane strehe, ogromno muzejev, Sagrada Familia (a jo bodo sploh dokončali, računajo na leto 2040!). Znate angleško, pustite svoje znanje doma, ker vam ne bo preveč služilo, naučite se katalonsko! Naj mesto v Barceloni: Plaza Espana.

Newfoundland

There are four pictures; the first two are of Gros Morne National Park on the west coast of the island of Newfoundland. The first pic is of Gros Morne itself (that is the name of the mountain), and the second is of the famous Fiords of the park.

The third and fourth are pics in an area comprising the seond portion of the province, Labrador. The first is an Old Moravian Mission in a small inuit community called Hopedale. The building in the background is very famous. I believe it is a national historic site. The fourth pic is of the place where I lived while working (I was a teacher there) in the isolated northern Innu community of Natuashish. This town was only recently built out of the wilderness (2002) in response to rampant drug and alcohol problems in the now defunct Davis Inlet. You may have heard of it. The social problems affiliated with it caputred world wide attention in the 1990's.

My first writing and request

Hello to All.

My name is Bostjan (Boštjan in Slovenian). I’m coming from Slovenia, small country in Europe. I will add some photos of Slovenia soon in my album, so that you could see what Slovenia looks like :))

Ok, let me tell you all why am i creating this Blog. I really do like to travel. But as I don’t have that much time and traveling requires a lot of money, I can’t see everything what I want in world. And that’s why I created this blog.

And so I have a request for you readers all over the world. I ask you to send me mail, with some words about your village, your town, your city, your country, your state, or even your best place under the sun. I am not asking for essay or a novel. Just for a simple mail, with simple text. And with photo(s) attached to it. I don’t expect pictures of people. I am not a voyeur :)) I ask for pictures that represents’ your living environment.

All that mails with pictures will be posted as blog post in this Blog (but only with your permission). And I’ll add pictures in Album.
